December Highlights

-

This season was so energizing. After finals, I felt like I was charged up and refueled by the people and things I love most. For most of December I felt like I was going a million miles an hour-- and I loved it. Though it wasn't exactly restful, I feel like I got to squeeze every ounce of fun and laughter and adventure out of my days!

December began with my dear friend Natalie spending a week in LA with me!

A few festive Disneyland trips...

After finals week, I flew to North Carolina to visit Mandy!

And then made a spontaneous 24 hour trip to NYC with Angelika!

I ended my December travels with friends and brunch in Laguna Beach

Home for the holidays and celebrating Christmas Eve traditions

Our moms got us matching Christmas jammies!

Ended 2017 the best way: with ice cream, the ocean, and the ones I love most.

Not pictured: the 3 (!!) times I went to see The Greatest Showman, Kyle coming home from his Tokyo trip, family kayak trips across the San Francisco bay, a double date to the Kings game, competitive Yahtzee tournaments with Kyle, a ski day with my brother, band practice with my dad, and all the Christmas cooking with my mom!

Holiday Guide: 20 Under 20

-

I am so excited about this gift guide and even more excited that every single item is under $20! I love shopping for Christmas gifts for friends, but when you're on a budget it can get overwhelming fast. One idea that we had is to do a gift exchange where we each draw one name out of a hat and get a gift for just one friend. Then we can all get together, drink hot coco, watch a Christmas movie, and exchange our gifts. This way, we are able to give something and receive something without getting stressed out and overspending. Here are some of my favorite budget buys! Holiday Gift Guide 2017

-

I love Christmas shopping and searching for the perfect gifts for friends and family. I am always on the look out for my favorite online publications' gift guides this time of year. Seeing what ideas people have put together gives me plenty of holiday gifting ideas and style inspiration in general. As I've looked through my own gift guides throughout the years, it's been fun to see how my own style and interests have evolved. This year's list is comprised of a few things I've received and loved in the past, am gifting to others this year, or might be adding to my own Christmas list! A few simple and can't go wrong gift ideas? A calendar for the new year, sweet smelling candle, or a warm beanie! You can shop this gift guide using the feature below:
