#ChangeItUp with ACUVUE®

To me, life is about connecting with others and always aiming toward living life to the fullest. That’s why I loved the idea of ACUVUE® Brand’s #ChangeItUp campaign, which is all about transforming your perspective so you can see better, connect more deeply, and live more fully.

Ever since I was a little kid, sitting in class and struggling to read the white board, I’ve relied on prescription lenses to improve my vision. There was a solid year in my life that I solely wore glasses, but as my acting career got busier and I regularly had to ditch the glasses look for auditions and shoots, I realized I needed to switch to contact lenses. Roles rarely called for glasses, and even when they did, the production team would pop out my prescription lenses to reduce any glare while filming and I would just wear the frames. Making the switch to contacts allowed me to perform better on camera and to express more of my own style off camera.

I’d been using another brand for years now and recently switched to ACUVUE OASYS® 1-Day contact lenses. I love how my eyes rarely feel dry and I barely even notice I’m even wearing them. Plus, the daily lenses are convenient since I’m constantly on the go and don’t want to worry about bringing along contact solution. Each morning when I wake up, I just pop in new contact lenses and feel refreshed all day long. Making little changes can have huge positive impacts in life, like switching to my ACUVUE OASYS® 1-Day contact lenses. ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses helped my life and my career thrive.

ACUVUE® Brand Contact Lenses are available by prescription only for vision correction. An eye care professional will determine whether contact lenses are right for you. Although rare, serious eye problems can develop while wearing contact lenses. To help avoid these problems, follow the wear and replacement schedule and the lens care instructions provided by your eye doctor. Do not wear contact lenses if you have an eye infection, or experience eye discomfort, excessive tearing, vision changes, redness or other eye problems. If one of these conditions occurs, remove the lens and contact your eye doctor immediately.

What a year 2017 was! It was so full of joyful moments and it was so fun to capture many of them to share. Yet, I found that some of the most joyful moments couldn't be photographed. These moments were quiet, small, maybe even insignificant things that actually meant a whole lot to my life.
