Our Wedding!

Our California Coastal Wedding
Our homemade wedding was made possible through hours of dreaming, planning, and creating and a team of family, friends, and vendors that truly went above and beyond to make those dreams realities. We aimed to capture a classic and coastal vibe with natural design elements, white florals, and musical details throughout. From the veil that my mom wore on her wedding day, to the car my dad and brother spent months fixing up, to Kyle's dad officiating our ceremony, our wedding felt like a reflection of the things we value and treasure. We headed up the coast from the valley heat to foggy Mendocino, California for our wedding, and truly savored every ounce of love and celebration of our best weekend ever.

Our Venue
Spring Ranch was our launching point for inspiration; from there, everything flowed. The laid-back coastal ranch set the stage (literally) for our whole weekend. The antique piano inside the barn paired beautifully with our musical design elements, the foggy forest provided the perfect backdrop for our band, and the minimalist design elements complimented the rustic features of the property. We really valued celebrating throughout the weekend, and Spring Ranch allowed us to rent the entire property from Thursday to Sunday. Having a place to gather, share, create, and celebrate with our loved ones was exactly what we wanted in a venue.

Our Music Choices
Recessional: I Can't Help Falling In Love (Acoustic) by Elvis Presley
Processional: I Got You, I Feel Good by James Brown
First Dance: Love on the Weekend by John Mayer

Design Details
Music has always been a massive part of our love story; as fourteen and fifteen year olds, we were brought together by music and it brought us back together in college, after a short dating hiatus. Music has perfectly intervened when we needed it and woven itself into our story. Including the songs that shaped us as a couple was not only important us, but an opportunity to creatively share our unique story. We opted for each table to be named with song titles that were impactful to us throughout the years. My dear friend and graphic design genius, Bridget, created our wedding signage elements and my college bestie, Brenna, hand-lettered the lyrics to those songs on our table runners.
